Nyu transfer eligibility. Our most competitive applicants have completed at least 32 creditspoints of coursework by. Transfer students must complete one year at NYU Law before they can study abroad. NYU Students may apply to participate in the exchange program during their second year and during their fall semester of their third year.
Law Review members may not go abroad during their second academic year. The amount of transfer credit awarded at NYU will be based on the number of creditsunits earned at the external university as well as the length of that institutions academic term. Two or More Years Deferred Enrollment.
Nomination required by a faculty member or administrator at their community college. In some cases NYU Steinhardt may accept up to 72 transfer credits. Once enrolled at NYU expect to take at least 64 additional credits to earn a bachelors degree.
GPAs and credits required vary between NYUs programs. NYUs evaluation will focus primarily on your collegeuniversity grades and your high schoolsecondary school performance. We will email you when your advisor has completed the transfer of your J-1 record.
Students who already have a bachelors degree cannot apply to the institute as we do not have a graduate program and NYU doesnt allow for students to apply for a 2nd undergrad degree. Your highest degree earned by the time you plan to enroll at NYU is either a certificate or diploma. You are then eligible to apply as a transfer student if one of the following applies to you.
Have a 30 cumulative GPA at the community college. Permanent residents admitted to NYU New York or NYU Shanghai will be reviewed for federal financial aid with the successful submission of a valid FAFSA. Transfer applicants must first meet the high school requirements above.
