All NYU students must have a strong command of the English language to be successful in a fast-paced rigorous academic environment.

If English is not your native language you may be asked to submit results from one of the following English language proficiency examinations. Students who have earned less than 45 transferable college credits are the perfect candidates for our low-cost associates degree. In addition to the above requirements New York University also requires a minimum number of credits completed to apply to be a transfer student.
