Students in this program are required to study at one of NYUs global academic centers during their junior year. Transfer credits for the PhD. NYU reserves the right to request the Common Application Midterm Report from any transfer student even though it is not required.
If English is not your native language you may be asked to submit results from one of the following English language proficiency examinations. Students who have earned less than 45 transferable college credits are the perfect candidates for our low-cost associates degree. In addition to the above requirements New York University also requires a minimum number of credits completed to apply to be a transfer student. Can include a 30-credit blanket transfer for a prior MS degree and additional courses not included in the prior MS that may be transferred individually.
The maximum amount of credits a student can transfer to the program is 32. Exceptions to this are detailed below. The office is located on the 10th Floor of the Silver Center in room 1009.
NYUs founding campus offers a vast selection of majors and cross-school minors. New York University requires a minimum of 16 credits. The Department houses an extensive film and video collection as well as teaching and research labs Archaeology Biology and Linguistics.
