Transfer Domain From Godaddy To Ionos

Bring your domains to IONOS move them between IONOS contracts or prepare a domain transfer to another provider.

Transfer domain from godaddy to ionos. Enter your domain name in the type-in box and click on Check Status. Domains are automatically renewed for 1 year when you transfer to IONOS. Log in to IONOS and start the domain transfer in IONOS.

Connecting the Website to the Domain Once you have copied your website to your webspace you can connect your domain to the folder directory containing your website in your webspace. Your authorization code will be requested from the registration authority responsible for your domain. You can find the authorization code for your domain in the Domains section of the Renewal.

2 Start the Transfer. To transfer your domain to SiteGround go to your Client Area. Select the contract to which you wish to transfer your domain.

In the Prepare domain. Confirm the email address of the account holding the domain. You need to click on the link transfer.

Our system will automatically check its status and inform you about the information needed for initiating the domain transfer. Click Show Authorization Code. Select the folder containing your website.
